Tefal TY8463HH Air Force cordless handstick cleaner is ideal for smaller spaces. Like all of the Tefal Air Force range, it comes with an efficient triangular-shaped Delta head (minus headlights) to get close to skirting boards and into tight corners. It also has a flexible rectangular hose and a slim, low-profile handle design which make cleaning under low furniture anything but a chore. Powerful Advanced Cyclonic Technology – Tefal's patented air/dust separator – spins dust out of the air, capturing up to 99.98% of dust particles inside the dust container for long-lasting cleaning results. The two-speed 6200 rpm power brush (versus three speeds on the Air Force Extreme models) adapts to hard floors and carpets. Meanwhile, the battery takes 12 hours to fully charge; recharge it overnight and it'll run for 25 minutes – ample time to clean a smaller home. There's a built-in runtime indicator to tell you when it's time to charge again. Weighing in at 3.13kg, it's the lightest of the three Tefal Air Force models, so it's no trouble to move around. And, at 0.4L, the dust container is just a fraction smaller than the 0.5L Air Force Extreme models. But it's got the same easy-empty design: just hold it over a bin and push the button to flip open the base.

Here's how it works: Advanced Cyclonic Technology sucks dirty air in and spins it around at a high speed. This forces the larger dust particles out of the airstream where they fall downwards and into the dust container. The air then passes through a filter to get rid of any remaining dust particles before this now clean air is blown back into the room.
This process traps 99.98% of dust particles securely inside the dust container. No dust can escape, so it won't blow back into the room or clog up the vacuum. Which means the TY8463HH will always suck with the same outstanding level of power. Good to know: it works just as well with an empty dust container as it does with one that's full.
Like all of the Tefal Air Force range, the TY8463HH comes equipped with a triangular-shaped Delta head to get up close to walls and right into corners, plus an ultra-slim, low-profile handle and more flexible rectangular hose to get under low-level furniture with ease. Dust cannot escape!
Multiple suction veins in the vacuum head pick up dust from all angles for an efficient clean. Plus, the high-speed (6200 rpm) power brush has two settings. So you can adjust the speed to clean hard floors or pull stubborn pet hair from carpets quickly and easily.
