The powerful blender that’s versatile, durable and stylish too!

Blend ingredients in no time. Mastermix 1400W is Tefal’s most powerful traditional blender and the market’s most powerful under £150. Its superior power is all thanks to Tefal’s patented Tripl’Ax Technology. Six blades combine three actions for ultimate blending: two upward serrated blades create a vortex, pulling the ingredients in; two horizontal serrated blades mix and crush all ingredients finely for super-smooth results; and two downward blades ensure nothing gets trapped at the bottom of the jug. This versatile blender has three one-touch settings for quick results with minimum effort: ‘smoothie’ for perfectly blended smoothies; ‘ice crush’ to blitz ice in seconds – great for cocktails; and ‘auto clean’ – simply fill the jug with soapy water and Mastermix 1400W will alternate blender speeds to clean itself! All removable parts are dishwasher safe too. Prefer to take control? Choose from 15 speeds or the pulse function on the backlit manual speed dial to achieve your desired texture. Finished in premium stainless steel, this compact blender will add a touch of style to your kitchen, while the thermal shock-resistant 1.75L (useful capacity) glass jug lets you switch from hot (up to 80°C) to cold preparations in an instant, without risk of cracking. Four suction pads on the blender’s base ensure stable performance, no matter how tough the ingredients.

  • Superior power: Mastermix 1400W offers the highest wattage in the traditional blender (<£150) category for perfect results in no time.
  • Ultimate blending: Six Tripl’Ax Technology blades create a vortex, pulling ingredients in and ensuring none gets left at the bottom of the jug, for thorough blending and super-smooth preparations.
  • Flexible friend: Three one-touch programs (smoothie, ice crush and auto clean) for effortless results, plus backlit manual speed dial and pulse function to achieve your preferred blend with ease.
  • Good looking: With its premium stainless-steel casing, the stylish Mastermix 1400W demands pride of place in your kitchen.

Instructions & Manual
Frequent questions
The lid should always be in place while the appliance is in operation.
To add ingredients during mixing, remove the feeder cap and insert the ingredients through the filling hole in the lid.
If your appliance has this function, it allows you to make crushed ice, smoothies or frozen drinks by using the motor pulse function.
Always pour the liquid ingredients into the jug first before adding the solid ingredients, without exceeding the maximum level indicated.
For best results the food should be cut into cubes of 2 to 3 cm maximum before blending it.
No, do not put the bowl in a microwave oven.
Before using it for the first time, we recommend that you wash all the blender accessories in hot soapy water, taking care not to injure yourself with the blades, which are extremely sharp. It is not necessary to wash the body of the blender before use.
The chopper can be used for parsley, garlic, onions, bread, nuts, etc.
Use the "pulse" function for 2 second bursts each time, for a maximum period of 3 minutes.
Stop and leave the blender on pause for 15 minutes before restarting.
To clean the body of the appliance, first of all unplug it and then wipe it with a damp cloth.
To clean the bowl, use soapy water or washing-up liquid.
Some bowls are dishwasher safe, see instructions for use.
To clean the bowl:
- Open the appliance and fill the jug with 1.2 L of cold water from the tap (up to the MAX level). Do not add washing-up liquid to the jug.
- Put the top back on and plug it in.
- Press the P4 Easy cleaning button, then press the Start button.
- The cleaning process will start – you will hear the motor for 15 seconds and then it will stop for 15 seconds and then start again. These cycles will continue for approx 3 minutes.
- When you hear the beep indicating the programme has finished, pull out the plug from the appliance and take off the lid.
- Empty the water and rinse inside the jug.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water. Do not place the motor unit or the jug under running water.
• If necessary, once the appliance has cooled down, wash the blade under the tap and finish by cleaning the inside of the jug and the motor unit with a damp cloth.
• If there are still stains on the inside of the jug, leave it to soak for a few hours in hot soapy water, then remove the residue with a plastic scourer.
• Rinse the bowl.
NOTE: The appliance is not designed to be cleaned in a dishwasher.
This is probably due to the fact that there is too much food, or that the pieces are too large or too hard. To correct this, reduce the size or the quantity of ingredients or add a little liquid.
The appliance may not be on a flat, stable surface, the appliance is not stable (foot missing, etc.).
The volume of ingredients to be blended is too high, reduce the quantity of ingredients.
If the vibrations persist, contact an approved repair centre.
Leak through lid (overflow):
• The volume of ingredients is too high, do not exceed the maximum filling level for the bowl as stated in the instructions for use.
• The lid is not correctly positioned, lock it securely on the mixer bowl.
If the lid has a seal, check its condition and change it if necessary.

Leak from the bottom of the bowl:
• Your appliance does not have a removable blade unit: the seal on your blade unit may be damaged, have it checked by an approved repair centre.
• If your appliance has a removable blade unit: check it is positioned correctly on the jug. You need to ensure that the black notches on the blade unit are fitted fully into the equivalent recesses on the base of the jug – this will be apparent if you cannot turn the blade unit any further and if you turn the jug upside down you should not be able to see any gaps between the jug and the blade unit.

• Check that the gasket/seal is positioned the correct way around on the blade unit - the 3 folds of the gasket/seal must be visible once it is in place. If it is positioned in the other direction, you will not be able to lock the blade unit on the jug.

• Check the condition of the seal/gasket and change it if necessary.
• Check that your bowl is not split or broken as a result of impact.
If the leak persists, take the appliance to an approved repair centre.
Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Leave it at a local civic waste collection point.
