His cooking philosophy is simple – anyone can turn everyday food items into gourmet meals. Jamie Oliver is a breath of fresh air in the culinary world. He’s been a chef from an early age, having been virtually raised in his parent’s highly respected pub/restaurant in Essex, England. Jamie first caught the eye of British television viewers in 1997 in a documentary on the River Café, the fashionable London eatery where he was working at the time. Shortly thereafter the “Naked Chef” was born.

Jamie’s hands-on style and general chumminess and his philosophy that you don’t need loads of special ingredients and gadgets to make really tasty, simple food has led to his incredible popularity today. He’s also just released his fourth cookbook entitled "Jamie’s Kitchen".
