These terms and conditions are made between, on the one hand, SEB INTERNATIONAL SERVICE, registered at the Vesoul Register of Companies under number 399 014 216, located rue des Chars Faucogney-et-la-Mer (Haute-Saône - FRANCE), hereinafter “SIS”, and any individual purchasing on the Accessories Store on the TEFAL website (http://www.tefal.co.uk/accessory, hereinafter the “Site”) , herein after the Customer.
Please note that we are only able to deliver to addresses located in United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. All deliveries must be signed for.
Please note that exports to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man are charged at UK tax rates as per HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) guide lines.
These conditions are exclusively related to individuals and except any commercial entities. For companies please feel free to contact directly our Subsidiary in your country.
The price of the goods and/or services and delivery charges are inclusive of VAT. The VAT is charged at the current published local rates for the supply for both United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland territories at the time of order.
The parties agree that their relationship will be exclusively governed by this Terms and Conditions, to the exclusion of all other conditions. This Terms and Conditions are presented in the TEFAL Accessories Store.
The company is a member of FEVAD (Federation of Enterprises Distance Selling) and agrees to comply with all the provisions of the Consumer Code on distance selling.
These Terms shall comply with Articles L211-4 to L211-12 of the Consumer Code and Article 1648 of the Civil Code al 1.
You are going to enter into a purchase agreement. Please read the Standard Terms and Conditions before accepting. Please note that the Standard Terms and Conditions are in English. After entering into the contract by clicking on the “I agree the Terms and Conditions” box, SIS will send an email confirming the sale, which you may print and save as evidence of the purchase. SIS will also keep the document as proof of the purchase.
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to specify the modalities of any sale between SIS and the Customer, specifically in relation to the ordering, services, payment and delivery. They govern all the steps necessary for orders to be placed and tracked between the contracting parties.
In checking the “I agree the Terms and Conditions” box, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions of Sales. If you do not agree these Standard Terms and Conditions of Sales, you will be unable to confirm your order.
Orders can only be registered on the site if the Customer is clearly identified by entering a specific user name (his/her email address) and password which are both strictly confidential.
Any order placed via the user name and password will be deemed as validity issued. Any order implies acceptance of the prices and descriptions of products available for sale. Any contestation on this point will occur in the context of a possible exchange and guarantees mentioned below.
SIS undertakes to deliver any order received on its web site solely subject to the availability of the products, and within the maximum average quantity of 5 items for every reference of the website (some products may have different thresholds as an exception). If a product is not available, SIS undertakes to inform the Customer of such unavailability.
The orders will be delivered to the address provided by the Customer upon its registration or when placing the order. For deliveries to another address, the delivery address fields must be filled.
Deliveries are made via carrier within average lead-time for available parts, after order preparation and from the date of shipment with following delivery costs, all taxes included :
If the Customer is absent, the carrier will leave a non-delivery card indicating where and when the parcel may be collected.
In all instances, it is essential that you check the condition of the parcel as well as its contents. If the condition and/or contents of the parcel are defective, the Customer should refuse the delivery and make the following statement on the receipt “Rejected for bad condition”, sign it and add the date of receipt of the parcel. At the same time, the Customer Relations department should be contacted by telephone on the following number:

If your goods are found to be defective after the delivery date, you must notify Customer Relations within 3 days of receipt (Helplines as above)
Information on how to return the product in accordance with the conditions is set out in article 5) 1 below.
A new parcel will be delivered within a maximum period of 7 working days from the date on which the Customer rejected the first delivery.

The purchases must be paid on-line, when ordering, by Visa card, MasterCard or American Express .
SIS makes every effort to ensure the confidentiality and security of data sent over the web. In this regard, the web site uses a secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) payment module.
Prices are indicated in £ (pounds sterling) for United Kingdom and € (Euros) for Republic of Ireland, all taxes included. They include VAT applicable on the date of the order. These prices do not however include the cost of carriage.
Prices are firm at the time the Customer places the order within the limit of available stocks.
If at any stage a tax, including environmental tax, had to be created or modified upwards or downwards, this change will be reflected in the selling price of the items on the site and SIS sales documents.
Only one coupon code can be included per order. The offers are not cumulative.
The guarantee conditions for your accessory/spare part can be found in the guarantee section of the site .
The invoice comes with the delivery of the products. It is also used as the manufacturer’s guarantee certificate and must be kept.
Food and cosmetic ingredients (ingredients with Best Before Date (BBD) used in making "recipes") include a deadline for optimal use (BBD) that we recommend to the client to follow. Once the date has passed, food and cosmetic supplies will not present a hazard to health but may instead have lost all or part of their qualities: taste, texture ... and / or create a deceptive result in use.
Moreover, in case of non-compliance, defective article (Article damaged, deteriorated) or BBD (deadline for optimal use) exceeded, the customer has a period of 15 days from the date of receipt or withdrawal of the order to request an exchange. For this, he must contact Customer Relations on :
Customer relations will indicate the terms of return of its product. Items must be returned in there original packaging, complete (accessories, manuals, etc ...). SIS then accepts the return of the article from the customer within 14 days from the date of acceptance.
However, returned items incomplete, damaged or used will not be refunded or exchanged.
You may exercise your right of withdrawal, meaning that you can give up purchasing a product on our website without giving any reason. If you wish to withdraw a product ordered on our website, your request must be made in writing (mail or email) within 14 days from reception date. It must include the following information:

After receiving the instructions from Customer Relations, the product must be shipped to us (at your expense) to our warehouse at the following address Groupe SEB UK Ltd – Return service Tefal Accessories – Riverside House, Riverside Walk, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 1NA within 14 days from the instruction from Customer Relations.
Upon receiving the product, we will refund the payments already received, except the cost of shipping back the product. However, returned items incomplete, damaged or used will not be accepted.
* Consumables: needed to use the product and can be changed by the user without special tools and may be required to be changed periodically.
Any right of withdrawal is excluded for products liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; therefore the customer has no right of withdrawal in the case of these consumables (food preparations, cosmetic preparations ...).

In order to make a purchase on line, all users of the Accessories shop on the Tefal webs site must complete a registration process to obtain their username (your e-mail address and password). This personal identifier will be sent to him.
In all cases, filling in online credit card number and final validation of the order shall be evidence of all of the said order in accordance with the law of 13 March 2000 and will be worth payment of amounts incurred by the supply of the items on the order form.
This confirmation will be considered as signature and express acceptance of all operations at the site.
SIS is under an obligation to achieve a result at all stages of the ordering and all stages subsequent to the execution of the contract. Accordingly, SIS undertakes to describe with the greatest care and accuracy the products sold on the Accessories shop on the Tefal webs site. However, SIS cannot be held liable if the non-fulfillment of its obligations if due either to an unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party to the contract or to a case of force majeure, such as war, riots, lay-off, strikes, forces of God events, among others.
Similarly, the responsibility of SIS can not be held liable for any inconvenience or damage arising from the use of the Internet, including a break in service, external intrusion or presence of computer viruses.
Through the exploitation of the Accessories shop on the Tefal webs site (www.tefal.co.uk/accessory) the user consents to the use of their personal data, data provided upon registration by the relevant departments. This data is required to process orders. The user is informed that the processing of information, has been declared to CNIL under registration number 1246980.
SIS may, for commercial reasons transmit to a trading partner's identity and contact information of users of its services.
Under the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the user has the right to access and rectify the data. It may also object that its data is transmitted to third parties.

SIS does not knowingly solicit or gather personal data supplied by children or relating to children (aged under 18 years) without the consent of a parent or tutor and does not knowingly sell its products or services to children. Please children under 18 years must send the consent of a parent or tutor. If it finds out that the person submitting personal data through any part of the SIS sites is a child, SIS will do everything that is reasonably within its power to ensure that those personal data are removed from its files as quickly as possible. SIS will also do everything that is reasonably possible to ensure that such personal data is not used for any purpose whatsoever or communicated to third parties. Given that it is does not seek to collect personal data relating to children and removes data gathered inadvertently as soon as it is so aware. SIS does not retain any data that might be subject to a right of access or removal. If a parent asks to access or remove data relating to its child before SIS has noticed the fact and removed the data, SIS will answer favourably to such request.
If any clause in these standard terms and conditions is or becomes null or void due to a change in legislation, regulations or due to a court ruling, it shall not under any circumstances affect the validity of or compliance with the remaining clauses of these standard terms and conditions of sale.
These conditions apply throughout the duration of on-line services provided by SIS.
The electronic records retained in the information systems of SIS and its partners in reasonably secure conditions will be deemed as proof of the communications, orders and payments between the parties, without prejudice to the possibility for the Customer to bring proof to the contrary by any legally recognised means.
Order forms and invoices are filed on a reliable durable media in order to constitute a true and durable copy in accordance with Article 1348 of the Civil Code..
These standard terms and conditions are subject to both United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland law, according to place where purchase is passed.
In the event of a dispute, the jurisdiction will be attributed to the courts of the defenders’ place of residence or, at the choice of the claimant, the place of effective delivery of the product.
