• Always be aware while the appliance is operating, paying special attention to any steam coming out of the spout, which is very hot.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

70 °C, 75 °C, 80 °C, 85 °C, 90 °C, 95 °C.
NOTE: The water temperature may vary depending on external factors, the ambient temperature, and the temperature and size of the cup. Furthermore, the ‘optimal’ temperature for drinking water to be poured into the tank is between 15 and 25 °C.
The water does not reach boiling point. You can choose the following temperature settings:
70°C, 75°C, 80°C, 85°C, 90°C, 95°C
NOTE: Water temperature may vary due to external variables, ambient temperature, cup temperature and size. Also, the “optimal” drinking water temperature to pour into the water tank is 15-25°C
When the water temperature is lower than normal (lukewarm or cold), you should perform a descaling process.
No. The settings will not be saved when the appliance is switched off at the plug socket. You will have to set them again each time the appliance is switched on. Settings will remain if the appliance has gone into standby.
No, be careful. You must not leave the appliance when you have pressed the manual mode as you will need to stop the water flow by pressing the Serve button when it has reached your required amount.
Simply wipe the outside with a clean, damp cloth. Never use abrasive products, scouring powder, detergents or other maintenance products because they may discolour the plastic. Take care never to put the appliance, power cord plug or electrical base in water !
Rinsing: If the appliance is not used for 48 hours or is unplugged, the cleaning icon is illuminated. This is a short rinsing process using 250ml of water (refer to the manual).
NB: the cleaning/rinsing icon will remain visible until the rinsing process is done. This is not mandatory but recommended if the appliance is not used regularly.
Descaling: must be done after 200 cycles, using a water & citric acid solution and takes around 15 minutes to complete.
The cleaning/rinsing icon will remain visible until the rinsing process is done. This is not mandatory but recommended if the appliance is not used regularly.
The appliance needs to be descaled after 200 cycles.
However, 200 cycles is not 200 cups of tea. It is 200 times of the water being dispensed,
ie each time the start button is pressed to dispense water (for example, if you use a little hot water first to warm your cup, which you throw away and then make a cup of tea – that is counted as two cycles).
The icon will blink after 185 working cycles until 200 cycles. At 200 cycles, the descaling process is mandatory (normal working cycle will be blocked). Once the descaling process is completed, this icon switches off.
Over time, if you observe any of the following phenomena: the emergence of steam, abnormal steam, abnormal noises, or interrupted water flow, immediate descaling is required.
The water flow is regulated to avoid hot water splashes. If the flow appears to be getting slower, launch both the rinsing and descaling processes. If the problem persists, contact our consumer services team.
The appliance will lock after 1 minute if there is no action and the child lock will be activated. Long press (3 seconds) the ON/OFF button to lock or unlock the appliance.
Do not use your appliance. To avoid any danger, have it replaced by an approved repair centre.Empty the cup rest/drip tray regularly.

Press quickly on the Serve button and the first drop of water will come within 3 seconds.
Or, you may have pressed for too long on the Serve button. Pressing down for 3 seconds or more on the Serve button will launch the rinsing/cleaning process (refer to the manual).
This often happens when the appliance is new; pour away the water from the first few uses. If the problem persists, fill the water tank to its maximum level and add 2 teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda. Leave to soak for a couple of hours then pour away the water and rinse the water tank thoroughly with clean water.

This phenomenon is normal in hard water regions. It is caused by the calcium and magnesium carbonate present in the water.
Tip: regular descaling will be necessary.
