The icon will be Illuminated after 48 hours if the appliance is not used. The icon also lights up when the product has been unplugged.
The appliance needs to be descaled after 200 cycles. However, 200 cycles is not 200 cups of tea. It is 200 times of the water being dispensed, ie each time the start button is pressed to dispense water (for example, if you use a little hot water first to warm your cup, which you throw away and then make a cup of tea – that is counted as two cycles).
The icon will blink after 185 working cycles until 200 cycles. At 200 cycles, the descaling process is mandatory (normal working cycle will be blocked). Once the descaling process is completed, this icon switches off.
Over time, if you observe any of the following phenomena: the emergence of steam, abnormal steam, abnormal noises, or interrupted water flow, immediate descaling is required.
