The X-Clean washer can be used on all types of smooth floors: waxed concrete, tiles, terracotta, PVC, linoleum, parquet.
For parquet or more delicate floors, don't hesitate to use modes with a low water flow to avoid soaking them.
We recommend testing the appliance on a small area for delicate floors when using it for the first time.
Refer to product safety and use instructions. Do not use on carpets, walls, windows or floors sensitive to water. Product is not designed for outdoor use.
Even if the washer is compatible with most household cleaners on the market, this remain optionnal. You are responsible for this; please follow these instructions:
Prefer multi-surface detergents suitable for various types of floors. Use solutions with mild surfactants.
Do not use products containing bleach, pure bleach, or corrosive agents. Do not use foaming cleaning products (carpet shampoo, black soap, dishwashing liquid).
Do not use acid-based cleaners, such as certain bathroom products. These are too harsh and may corrode the vacuum mop’s metal components. Do not use greasy (e.g., black soap), toxic, flammable, aggressive, or particle-containing products.
Adding household detergents to the water tank is done at your own risk. Using incompatible detergents may damage and cause your device to malfunction. This could cause a product dysfunction.
When using detergents, always follow the dosage recommended by the manufacturer to avoid residue on the floor and to ensure quick drying. Overdosing the detergent may damage your device and cause it to malfunction.
After each self-cleaning cycle, it is important to empty both of your appliance's tanks. However, it is not necessary to wash the roller and the rest of the appliance. For this step, we recommend (depending on your frequency of use and type of dirt vacuumed) that you wash your roller once a week.
If the clean water tank is empty, refill it. The water distribution system may be clogged. In this case, clean the nozzles using the supplied cleaning brush and/or a damp cloth. If this is not sufficient, fill the clean water tank with cold household white vinegar and run a Self-Clean (self-cleaning) cycle. If the water flow is too low, make sure you are using the appropriate suction mode (depending on the model).
Always use the device with the roller in place and the clean water tank full. If a foreign object is stuck in the cleaning head, clean it. Check that the washing head is not damaged.
An object or fibres may be blocking the roller. If so, dismantle your roller and remove any items that are preventing it from rotating. Also check between the roller and the side brush if there is one.
The roller may be dirty. If this is the case, run a self-cleaning cycle and then clean the roller by hand.
If the problem persists, the appliance may not be set to the correct cleaning mode.
Adjust the operating mode according to the level of dirt on your floor. A stubborn stain will take longer to clean than a superficial stain.
We therefore recommend using the ‘MAX’ mode on the vacuum cleaner and letting the roller run over the stain for a few moments to moisten it thoroughly, then going over it several times to remove the stain.
If the water flow is too high or the roller is soaked, set the appliance to minimum water flow. If there is a water leak from the vacuum cleaner, contact an authorised repairer, who will be able to help you resolve the issue.
The presence of foam in the dirty water tank can cause incorrect detection and make the system think the tank is full. Rinse and clean the dirty water tank, without using foaming detergent. Do not forget to fill the clean water tank.
To start, your device must be in the running position: tilt the vacuum cleaner and press the ON/OFF button. Parking mode will stop the device and you will not be able to restart it in this position. If the vacuum cleaner is broken, please contact our authorised repairers who will be able to help you.
