Ingredients

  • 1kg Maris Piper potatoes
  • 2 ActiFry spoonful of olive oil
  • 4 cod loin fillets
  • 100g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic granules
  • Good pinch dried dill
  • Cracked black pepper
  • Good pinch of salt
  • 100ml of water

Preparation

Peel&Cut potatoes into chips. Rinse thoroughly under cold running water, drain and pat dry with a tea towel.

Put the chips into the ActiFry bowl, season lightly and add oil. Close the lid and set the total cooking to 45 minutes.

Press 2in1 three times until you see the fish icon appear on the display. Press the ON button to start cooking the chips. In the meantime, pat dry the fish with kitchen paper. Mix the flour with herbs and seasoning and coat fish in seasoned flour. Set aside for 10-12 minutes. Prepare the batter with the remaining flour by whisking with water.- add it in slowly and whisk until smooth. You want a thick batter that will stick to the fish evenly, so don't use all if the batter is going too runny, and add a touch more if it is too thick.

The ActiFry 2in1 will beep when there is 20 minutes cooking time remaining for the chips. At this point coat the floured fish in the batter and place in the top tray.Drizzle on an ActiFry spoonful of olive oil and place the tray in the Actifry 2in1. Close the lid and press 2in1 once.

Leave to cook for 10 minutes. Open the lid and turn the fish and cook for a further 10 minutes. Once the timer beeps again remove fish and chips and serve.
